The 2019 Hertfordshire Care Providers Association awards took place on November 22 and for the first time Underwood Consulting sponsored one of the awards.
The “Made a Difference Award” is aimed at people in the care sector who have made a difference via their care to one or more individuals. It is an award that sits comfortably within the ethos of Underwood Consulting. We are delighted to say there were two worthy winners of the award; Olivia Ndoro of Nouvita Care and Siouxsie Liddle of Grace Muriel House.
Other award winners on the night were; Sasha Murray from Adico Care, Omer Care, Callum Stoneham from Chorleywood Beaumont, Shameem Choudhury from Autumn Vale, Jacob Neurological Centre, Wendy Nee from Druglink, Karen Williams from Lifeways, and Penny McCloskey with Theresa Snow from Trips “n” Treats.
The event itself can only be described as a glamorous occasion which took place at Knebworth Barns, Herts. The evening was used as a fundraising event for the Stepping Out charity with games and a prize draw realising over £3,000 for an exceptionally good cause. Entertainment for the evening was appreciated by all present and ranged from a fire eating Marshall Arkeley to the vocal talents of Aimi P, Koostyx and Wesley Strahan-Hughes.
